Details
KBsphere® S-X series gel permeation chromatography (GPC) media are based on porous polystyrene-divinylbenzene microspheres, which can be used for molecular weight and exclusion chromatography of lipophilic polymers and hydrophobic molecules, such as pesticides, rodenticides, polycyclic aromatic compounds and unsaturated lipids.
KBsphere® S-X series GPC media are available with crosslinkages from 1-12% and have exclusion limits ranging from 400-14000 daltons. The GPC media are typically used with benzene, toluene, xylene, carbon tetrachloride, dimethylformamide, ketones, aromatics, dichloromethane, o-dichlorobenzene, perchloroethylene, tetrahydrofuran, trichlorobenzene and mixtures of solvents. Complete swelling is necessary before packing in the column and running the chromatography applications.
